RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2011
This year we helped out two fantastic landscape designers – sourcing paving and landscaping products and installing their designs. As a Marshalls Registered Member, we asked Marshalls to sponsor us to help carry out this task and they kindly agreed.
Sally Parkinson – “A Breath of Fresh Air – Bronze Award
Sally Parkinson at Gardens and Spaces designed this garden to raise awareness of the respiratory disease in the Northwest. The design incorporates a variety of low-allergen plants that showcase texture, structure, and rhythm. This garden was designed to be enjoyed by those with respiratory conditions or allergies.
We installed a spherical theme representing bubbles of air runs through the garden, linking the hard landscaping with the planting. Using inspiration from the charity’s logo, the path and deck area create a naturalistic shape and a space in which to relax.
The colour palette of green, white and blue creates a relaxed environment and creates a contemporary feel with bright, clean white surfaces, a raised pool of mist makers and a swathe of blue glass mulch.
Sue Beesley – “Grasses with Grace” – Gold Award
Sue Beesley at Bluebell Cottage Gardens designed this garden to highlight some of the finest and most graceful early flowering ornamental grasses, in the setting of a large oval border planted with complementary herbaceous perennials. We installed a cobblestone path running through the garden joining the two sides of the garden together. A simple curved bench, made from elm from Bluebell Cottage’s own managed woodland, offers the time to sit and enjoy the scene.

What Our Customers Say
I am absolutely delighted with my new patio and privacy screening. The materials are first class and the team were hard working and extremely professional. The finished result has been highly praised by all of my family and I will spend many happy days outside enjoying it all. I am so glad that I took the decision to transform my garden, as when weather permits, I have realistically added another room to my home.
