Garden Makeover Paving Patio Circle Feature Aintree

Before
After 28 Days
Date Completed: 22/08/2009

This garden makeover project was to transform the rear garden in three phases.

In phase one we installed two new patio areas using natural stone. The first patio is to be raised up retained with old reclaimed brick with a path leading to a circle feature to be done in phase three.

The second phase is to install a path using natural stone which will lead to a circular seating area. The path was edged with a red reclaimed brick to create raised kerbs to retain the flower bed, and we also installed the red reclaimed brick to form a kerb to edge the shape of the garden.

The third phase was to construct a circle feature using natural sandstone creating a seating area with the outer rings of the circle. The seating section is built by using reclaimed red brick and also the circle patio area is raised up retained with also reclaimed brick.

This project was carried out in the Aintree area of Sefton, Merseyside L10.

What Our Customers Say

“Absolutely fantastic! We needed a way to stop water running underneath a poorly designed automatic door threshold into our Property. Abel Landscapes came up for a site-visit and advised on the best, affordable and wheelchair friendly drainage channel, making sure the water runs off down the street rather than into our building. A time amd date convenient to us was agreed. When the workmen came I was very impressed to witness a throrough and professional pre-job brief -all too often have I had it happen that after everything was agreed on site-visit, then the workmen turn up and ask “so what needs doing here?” not having been briefed about the job at all- not so with Abel Landscapes: they were briefed not only with everything that was agreed on during site visit but also the technical aspects and details of execution of the job. It was a joy to hear a proper job brief. Then the work itself was carried out swiftly and extraordinarily neatly. The finished job looks so good and un-intrusive I had to point out to staff that it’s already been done and they were impressed how well it fitted with the look of the front of our building. Most importantly though: it works! The drainage channel keeps the water away from our building and we can finally replace the sodden moss-ridden carpet. Thank you Abel Landscapes! 5 stars all round from communication over design to execution -oh, and reasonable price – I cannot recommend them enough! I would use them again in a heartbeat.”
