Decking, Water Feature, Lights Riverside Aigburth

Before
After 12 Days
Date Completed: 06/06/2012

This project was to extend the existing raised deck slightly lower to create a facia for LED Spotlights. Also we were installing a pondless water feature with a waterfall effect flowing from under the new raised decking feature. We were also creating decking steps in three different access locations. One leading to a new Indian stone circle feature what we installed and another one leading to the existing log cabin and the third stairs leading up to the deck area next to the water feature. Finally, we were relaying the existing sleeper stepping stones leading to the log cabin around the side of the existing deck. All the lighting and pump are operated with a remote control system.

This project was carried out in the Riverside, Otterspool Park area near Aigburth.

What Our Customers Say

“Absolutely fantastic! We needed a way to stop water running underneath a poorly designed automatic door threshold into our Property. Abel Landscapes came up for a site-visit and advised on the best, affordable and wheelchair friendly drainage channel, making sure the water runs off down the street rather than into our building. A time amd date convenient to us was agreed. When the workmen came I was very impressed to witness a throrough and professional pre-job brief -all too often have I had it happen that after everything was agreed on site-visit, then the workmen turn up and ask “so what needs doing here?” not having been briefed about the job at all- not so with Abel Landscapes: they were briefed not only with everything that was agreed on during site visit but also the technical aspects and details of execution of the job. It was a joy to hear a proper job brief. Then the work itself was carried out swiftly and extraordinarily neatly. The finished job looks so good and un-intrusive I had to point out to staff that it’s already been done and they were impressed how well it fitted with the look of the front of our building. Most importantly though: it works! The drainage channel keeps the water away from our building and we can finally replace the sodden moss-ridden carpet. Thank you Abel Landscapes! 5 stars all round from communication over design to execution -oh, and reasonable price – I cannot recommend them enough! I would use them again in a heartbeat.”
