Cedar Decking Orrell Park

In this project, we transformed the existing decking and bridge over the existing pond by installing new western red cedar decking platform with a log handrail to blend in with the new log cabin we constructed. The new decking platform over the pond has a lot more usable space now as before the bridge effect took up space.

We installed LED rope and spotlights along the edge of the bottom of the handrail and out of the log posts to light create an ambient view by night. We also installed LED spotlights out of the cedar deck around the curved edge shining up into the surrounding bamboo hedge.

This cedar decking project was carried out in our show garden, in the Orrell Park area of Liverpool L9.
