In the Crosby area of Liverpool in Merseyside, we proudly presents a stunning transformation of a front garden and driveway, where meticulous planning and expert craftsmanship have combined to create a harmonious and visually striking outdoor space.

Excavation and Foundation:

The journey of this project began with a commitment to excellence, marked by the removal of all green waste and the excavation of the existing Tarmac driveway. To ensure a robust foundation, MOT Grade 1 hardcore was expertly installed, setting the stage for a remarkable makeover.

Precision with Marshalls Drivesett Kerbs:

The landscape took shape with the installation of Marshalls Drivesett kerbs, positioned along the elevation between the driveway and the proposed artificial grass area. This not only added a touch of refinement but also delineated the spaces with precision. Complementing this, a linear drainage system along the garage was seamlessly integrated, ensuring efficient water management from the driveway to the steps leading down to the garden.

Structural Integrity: Walls and Retaining Features:

Recognizing the need for structural integrity, the Abel Landscapes team embarked on the reconstruction of the garden wall and the repointing of the opposite side wall. This strategic intervention was essential to address the instability and untidiness of the existing structures. A retaining wall was ingeniously constructed, harmonizing with a step down to the garden by the gate, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Paving Elegance with Marshalls Drivesett Tegula:

The driveway area came to life with the installation of Marshalls Drivesett Tegula block paving, creating a timeless and textured surface that exuded charm. A seamless transition was achieved with Marshalls Sawn Sandstone paving, skillfully employed to create a path around the house. Bullnose steps to the front door added a touch of grandeur, combining practicality with sophistication.

Lighting Solutions: Security and Ambiance

The carefully curated outdoor space was further enhanced with a thoughtful selection of lighting solutions. Abel Landscapes supplied and fitted border lights, floodlights, and security lights,  placed to accentuate key features and provide a warm and welcoming ambiance during the evening. The addition of a remote-controlled electric garden gate not only elevated security but also added a touch of modern convenience.

A Lush Finish: Artificial Lawn Creation:

The final touch to this transformative project was the creation of an artificial lawn, a low-maintenance green expanse that complements the overall aesthetic while providing a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.
