Types Of Artificial Grass
''Artificial grass looks great all year round, doesn’t need mowing, watering, feeding and creates no muddy feet or paws.''

What is Artificial grass:
Is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenance.
Types of Turf
The most common types of artificial turf are :
ü Landscape Lawn
ü Pet Grass
ü Athletic Field Turf
ü Playground Turf

Artificial grass is available in single or multi-tone colours with varied pile heights and density. The long piled, dense and multi-toned grasses are most expensive but it may be that a cheaper grass better suits your requirements.
A high quality artificial grass should have:
* Good realism in comparison to natural grass.
* Soft and non-abrasive texture.
* A hole latex backing for drainage.
* A high grass blade density.

Choosing the right artificial grass that suit your need
Economy lawns:
ü Typically, half the price of a premium artificial grass lawn.
ü Excellent for garden games as the bounce and roll of a ball is far better on this compact grass.
ü Best choice for high traffic areas (such as dog runs) as the grass is less likely to deform
ü Ideal flooring surface for home driveways (indeed you can park on artificial grass).
Mid-range lawns:
ü Softer than economy grass – most modern artificial grass products are coated with silicone.
ü Sufficiently advanced to look real from a distance.
Superior lawns:
ü Long pile heights of more than 30mm per blade of grass makes this a child friendly surface.
ü Look and feel like real grass
